A full player system restoration consists of the replacement of all soft materials. This includes:

  • bellows cloth
  • all rubber tubing and hose
  • leather valves and gaskets

We can also make new bellows when the old ones have been damaged during a prior restoration. We have access to many old parts, to replace any component that is missing or damaged.

Frequently, all that is needed is a part rebuilt that can be removed from the piano during a service call. The part can be restored in my shop and reinstalled in the piano. This saves the expense of moving the piano to and from my shop.

Also, it is possible to ship the defective part to our shop, where we can then assess it and perform necessary repairs and send it back. This works well if you live in an area not not serviced by a player piano technician.

We can install these systems in your piano! And we service other systems as well.

This system allows for the original beauty and function of your player piano to play rolls, but allows your piano to enter into the digital age by allowing MIDI files to play on your piano. This can greatly enhance your music collection as rolls become obsolete, or you are running out of room to store your collection.

Visit the VirtualRoll website or contact us for more details.

This system can turn any upright or grand piano into a player piano. Listen to your favorite pianist play with a full orchestra in the background or get your children interested in the piano as they can listen to modern day artist’s sing along with the piano. Reed organs were manufactured during the 1800’s. They operate on bellows which often need rebuilding. We have restored many fine organs over the years. Many have superb cabinets and are quite elegant in the design. They operate for many years once properly restored. If you have a pump reed organ, I am sure we can fix it ! We have also restored many small crank organettes, which were made in large numbers in the late 1800’s.
